Group 1826 is based in the greater Austin, Texas area, and is run by its owner and CEO, Mr. Jeff Berthelsen. For over 10 years, Jeff and his team have provided tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll and HR, QuickBooks, and custom programming services to literally hundreds of clients throughout Texas. Prior to Group 1826, Jeff worked for a successful lighting and electrical product distributor and full service electrical contractor in central Texas. Jeff was eventually promoted through the management ranks to become Director of Finance and Administration. During his 13-year tenure, the Company experienced incredible growth, from $500,000 to $300 million in annual revenue, with 1,500 employees nationwide in multiple branch locations. Jeff holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
